The problem with wet-mixed mortar is that it falls off quickly after being put on the wall and takes a long time to harden.

Since the company started the wet-mix mortar project last year, its products have not been very satisfactory. It uses powder additives, and the mortar is not very smooth. It is not easy to dry after being applied to the wall. The interior wall can barely be constructed, but the exterior wall is unusable, it falls off quickly after being put on the wall, and it takes a long time to harden. It’s really a headache.

The additives retard the setting very well, and the water retention rate is also relatively high. I recommend you to find the admixture manufacturer adjust it. Adjusting the admixture can solve the problem.

Beside the ratio problem, the admixtures also need to be adjusted. In addition, it is also necessary to see if there are any problems with the construction. All aspects need to be considered comprehensively.

There is too much retarder in your additives. Just reduce the amount and control the setting time to 24-48 hours.

It is best to consider liquid admixtures for wet mixing. Wet mixing of admixtures is simpler than dry mixing. Retarding time too long? What's the mark on the exterior wall with cement?

If you are using the AB composite type, it is better to switch to a two-component plasticizer and regulator. This way, the plasticizer and regulator dosage can be adjusted according to the workers' on-site construction reaction.

It is easy to fall off the wall because the mortar is not strong enough. It is not smooth because it has no viscosity. It takes work to construct. The formula needs to be changed, especially the external additives.
