Classification of Redispersible Polymer powder and several problems that need to be paid attention to when using it

When choosing Redispersible Polymer powder(RDP), several parameters and corresponding functions need to be paid attention to:

1. Glass transition temperature: the lower the temperature, the better the flexibility and the lower the bonding force, and vice versa

2. Viscosity: Among the dry-mixed mortar products in the current formula I have made, except for the viscosity requirements of self-leveling cement, other things do not matter. If it is in the self-leveling system, it is best to choose low-viscosity RDP

3. Anti-caking agent: The addition of an anti-caking agent will have a significant impact on the cohesive force, which should be concluded through the coherent force test

4. Chemical composition, the classification of several standard RDP is as follows:
EVA ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is prepared by copolymerization of ethylene (E) and vinyl acetate (VA). The English name is: Ethylene Vinyl Acetate referred to as EVA or E/ VAC.
E/VC/VL terpolymer of ethylene, vinyl chloride, and vinyl laurate
VAC/E/VeoVa Vinyl Acetate, Ethylene and Higher Fatty Acid Vinyl Ester Terpolymer Powder
VAC/VeoVa Vinyl Acetate and Vinyl ester of versaticacids Copolymer Powder
A/S Acrylate and Styrene Copolymer Powder
VAC/A/VeoVa Vinyl Acetate, Acrylic Ester, and Higher Fatty Acid Vinyl Ester Terpolymer Powder
PVC vinyl acetate homopolymer powder
SBR Styrene and Butadiene Copolymer Powder

If it is Redispersible Polymer powder, it can be ignored in personal feelings when used in mortar. The cement will generate heat of hydration when it is hydrated.
