Cement-based putty powder dries quickly, what's the matter? Ask for advice

Two tons of Heavy Calcium Carbonate, 250 kg of white cement, 7 kg of cellulose, 3 kg of polyvinyl alcohol 2488, and 0.8 kg of starch ether.
 
Is it dry faster in the bucket or on the wall?
Judging by your formula, not talking about the inside of the barrel; it probably dries pretty quickly on the wall.
Change the amount of cellulose between 3.5~4 kg; if not refined, increase it slightly.
If it dries quickly in the barrel, add 0.2kg retarders.
 
Based on this formula, to make an interior wall cement-based putty, whether in the bucket or on the wall, no matter which one dries faster, it is because your cellulose ether usage needs to be corrected. Therefore, if you need to rely on a retarder to adjust for an interior wall cement putty, it means a problem with your formula.
 
Many types of cement are unstable, especially in summer. Therefore, it may not be solved by adding high-grade cellulose or adjusting the formula. Instead, either replace the cement or add a retarder.
Some compound retarders have a longer open time of cellulose than pure cellulose.
